The catalog tab lets you search the library's online catalog to find books, e-books, DVDs and more.

Enter the words MOVIE MAKING in the search box.  Then change the pull down menu next to the search box to Title+Subject and press the Find button.  The results you see are sorted by relevance.  You can sort them by date using the pull down menu to the upper right of the results.  "Date Descending" will show you the most results first.

You can also see the call number and location of the item, as well as whether or not it is checked out.

Journals Tab

 Click the Journals Tab

This is where you can search for a specific journal title.  Just enter all or part of the name.

Research Guides Tab

 Click the Research Guides Tab

Reserves Tab

 Click the Reserves Tab

You can check out items that your instructor has placed on course reserve. These materials have shortened circulation periods and accelerated fines due to their high demand. Use the website to find the call number for the material you need.  Take the call number to the User Services desk on Library North 1.

If your course instructor has put the material on electronic reserves you'll need a userID and password for accessing the materials that must be obtained from the instructor. The Libraries do not maintain this information.

Live Assistance

On the far right side of the page is the library's Live Assistance chat box.  When the service is active you're able to talk directly with a librarian and discuss solutions.  If you need help after hours or just don't want to "talk" to a person you can search for an answer in our Question and Answer section.

About the Library

At the top of the website to the right of the library logo are more links with information.

Hover your cursor over "About the Library."  This is where you can find floor maps, contact information, library policies and other information.
