AUCD Leadership Academy

The AUCD Leadership Academy is a week-long program designed to enhance the skills of current and emerging leaders from the disability network. The Leadership Academy seeks participants from UCEDDs, LENDs, and their disability partners to immerse themselves for a week of study along with a number of activities in the year following the experience.

During the Leadership Academy, participants will explore shared values and commitments to civil and human rights, assess their personal and leadership strengths, develop skills in building partnerships to achieve collective impact, and establish personal and professional leadership goals. Leadership Academy staff, local coaches, national allies, and, most importantly, fellow members of the cohort, contribute to the richness of the experience.
